Christmas in France
Well I know, I'm late but well, being on time for my post wasn't a New Year resolution..... To be honest, I try my best not to have any new year resolution. Good resolutions, good resolutions, OK I can have plenty, but you know what, I know that most of the time I'm not going to achieve them, so I will finish disappointed and I have to wait the end of the year to have again the same "old" new year resolutions.....After a certain number of experimentation, I decided that it was pointless.....
But good news, we are still in January, so I can wish everybody a HAPPY NEW YEAR :-D.
I went for a very short week in France to spend Christmas with my family, it was short but intense.
Each time I go to France I wish I could stay longer, but I guess it is usually the case with vacation, isn't it? All the time I spend with my family is very precious, I want to take the most of each instant, this week was just so nice... So as a good french woman, I spent a lot of time eating, drinking and talking.....
I got to know a little more my younger nephew Tom, his father (my brother) is a farmer, and Tom's childhood is like heaven, he probably knows more than I know about farm, tractors..... I saw almost all my sisters, brothers, nieces ,nephews and even some uncles, aunts, cousins and whoever knows a little bit about my family, knows that it is a lot.... My parents are a little harsh on them because they are making sure that they are going to make the effort to come and visit me. I really appreciate that but at the same time I feel a little bad because some of them had to adapt their very busy schedule.... Well anyway, I was very happy to have the chance to see so many people in such a short period of time.... Thank you everyone....
